Why We
Give
Giving is an act of worship, a reflection of God’s generosity, and a way to further His kingdom here on Earth. When we give, we acknowledge that all we have comes from God and that we are stewards of His blessings. Our tithes and offerings support the mission of the church—spreading the Gospel, serving those in need, and creating a community where faith can flourish. Whether it’s helping the poor, funding ministry programs, or sustaining the church, every gift makes an impact. We give not out of obligation, but out of love, gratitude, and trust in God’s provision.
Jesus taught us that giving is not just about what we give but the heart behind it. In 2 Corinthians 9:7, we are reminded: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." When we give joyfully, we experience the blessings of generosity and become part of God’s work in transforming lives. Your giving makes a difference, not just in our church but in the lives of those we are called to reach with His love.

At Gospel Heights, we’ve seen firsthand how God takes the simple offerings of His people and multiplies them into something extraordinary. From our first gatherings with a handful of people to new communities being formed today, every milestone has been marked by the faith and generosity of this House.
I want you to see giving as worship — a way of saying, “Lord, my trust is in You.” It’s not about amounts, but about hearts surrendered. Together, our generosity fuels ministry in Toronto, Brantford, and beyond, so that more people can encounter the love of Jesus.

Giving is an act of worship and gratitude to God. It allows us to participate in His work by supporting the ministry of the church, blessing our community, and helping those in need.
It's an act of obedience - Tithing is taught throughout the Bible as a way for God’s people to honor Him. When we give the first 10% of our income, we’re obeying His command and putting Him first in our lives.
It acknowledges God's ownership - Everything we have comes from God. Tithing is a practical way of saying, “God, I trust You as my provider, and I know that all I have belongs to You.”
It grows our faith - Giving isn’t always easy—but it’s a step of faith. When we tithe, we’re trusting God to provide for our needs. It reminds us that He is our source, not just our paycheck.
It supports the mission of the church - Tithing helps fuel ministry—spreading the Gospel, serving the community, helping those in need, and growing God’s Kingdom. Your giving makes a real difference.
God promises to bless it - We’ve seen God bless our church community through faithful giving, and we believe He will bless you and your family as well. In fact, tithing is the only area in Scripture where God says, “Test Me in this” (Malachi 3:10).

At Gospel Heights, we believe tithing is more than a financial transaction—it’s an act of faith. The Bible teaches that every good gift comes from God, and He invites us to trust Him by putting Him first in our finances.

Yes. Recurring giving makes it simple to stay consistent with your generosity and helps the church plan more effectively for ministry. Please click on the link below, which will take you to our Giving platform (Tithely) from where you will be able to setup recurring deposits.

Every gift goes directly toward supporting the mission of our church — from weekly services, community outreach, and children’s ministry, to supporting missionaries and maintaining our facilities.

Yes, annual charitable donation receipts will be available before the end of February for the previous year donations. Gospel Heights will send year end contribution statements via e-mail to your address on file.
